The firm has experience in the evaluation and solution of engineering and environmental issues, as well as marina operations and management. Personnel with Carter & Sloope have been involved in over 200 marinas in the U.S. and Caribbean, Carter & Sloope understands all aspects of design including inlet channels, dredging and disposal, water quality management, wastewater handling, stormwater management, fuel systems and other marina design issues.

Carter & Sloope, Inc. operates five offices in Georgia. The corporate office is located in Macon, Georgia. Other offices are located in Athens, Savannah, Albany and Canton. Carter & Sloope, Inc. currently maintains a staff of 57 comprised of professional engineers, project engineers, technicians, clerical and survey crew members. This staff is experienced in providing complete planning, design and construction management services.

These services are provided to a variety of clients in both the public and private sector, including municipalities, industries, land developers, architects, and utility authorities.

The company holds a Certificate of Authorization to conduct engineering services in the States of Florida, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina while engineers in the firm are registered to practice in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Alabama, Tennessee and Ohio.
